Has anyone done it?
I want to relocate the mirrors on my DownTown 350i from the handlebars to the front like on the AK550,
It is for safety reasons, the location of the mirrors right now is not ideal for me, I'm surprised too many times by cars and trucks that are coming from behind and I didn't notice them, the mirrors on the handlebar are too close to the rider, and too far to the sides, I'm making an effort to take a glance in them.... it shouldnt be like that, placing them on the front would be perfect.
I found one company that has a solution
https://taiwanbigscootershop.com/products/t-b-s-s-downtown-350i-moved-forward-mirror-system-a2
and i found a bracket that would fit the old DownTown... not sure if it will fit mine (350i)
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004285655342.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.77cb38daL6RiKN&mp=1
any info would be welcomed.
Thank you

Hi Elko and welcome to the forum.
That bracket looks like it’s anchored onto the screen? Would this lead to vibration problems or worse, stress fractures to the screen?
Would drilling the fairing for the mount points be a better solution? Bigger job I know, but…

Welcome here!
I think it can be done, for the company also provides a basic and a mold with the mirrors.
From pic I would say it goes into the fairing as Neil suggests.
First I would mull over the possibility of mirror extenders, mount them and swing the mirrors further forward and outwards.
I did mirror changes on LIKE 200 models (see left blue scoot), where I went on the screen with them, although putting a brace in it for resistance.
