I forgot that Kymco had a stake in Livewire...wonder if they just increased it?

Promotional announcement on Livewire's fb page:

Get a first look at LiveWire’s S2-powered maxi-scooter to debut in 2026!
We’re expanding our strategic partnership with KYMCO in creating LiveWire’s debut maxi-scooter. We plan to launch in the first half of 2026 to offer riders the benefits of LiveWire’s electric performance in a new category for new pursuits. Stay tuned for more announcements coming soon! #LiveWire #Kymco

(If they mean 2026 and not 2025, then isn't that a bit late to the party?)

Geez that is expensive.
And as for the acceleration of an electric vehicle - my son scared the daylights out of me in his Tesla. And he said his was not the more powerful sporty model.
0>60 in 3 seconds on a bike....is stupid. IMHO.
Fortunately, it is too expensive for most....

I won't argue with the stupid comment but I've had many sub 0 to 60 bikes and it's a lot of fun and very addictive.

I find a Segway "Turf" model very handy for a gimpy, old guy like me for daily chores out side. An electric scooter for in-town errands makes perfect sense IF purchase cost reasonable. However, the electric pickup Ford "Blue Oval" factory near here has slowed in building because Ford has THOUSANDS unsold sitting about. Seems people don't like the prices....

Funny thing that Karl.

Seriously, until the price differential closes on EV vs ICE, they won’t be seeing my money.
