Post by: RedsBlu9LC on September 15, 2024, 02:10:11 PM
I just joined up ! thanks for having this forum . I'm a 68 yr old motorcycle tech , mostly Jap bikes and have a small shop near the college town of Clemson SC , so I have a LOT of moped work .
I just bought a Kymco Super 9 liquid cooled and have to get it running . The piston is fried and I want o hop this cool Blue machine up .
I'm also looking for some one to work part time in my shop.

Hello Reds,
Welcome to the forum!
A real 2 wheel mechanic in our midst is probably going to put a real damper on most of our normal diagnostic practices....
my go-to, "throw pasta on the kitchen wall and see what sticks!"
...and the always popular "buy new parts until it works again!"

Anyway, there are a handful of knowledgeable members here...and a few have worked with 50's.
As for hiring....you might just get some applicants. (those few of us without 'wants & warrants' in the system🙂

Again, welcome!
Stig
