Title: Kycmo 400i problems
Post by: fullt1wst on September 05, 2024, 09:34:27 AM
Hello,
I bought a kymco 400i 2019  with 50,000KM  on it.

I am having  the  following problems if you can   guide me  i would appreciate it.

* sometime it turn off after  2  seconds of letting the throttle off.
* on traffic lights  when i start accelerating sometime it turns off.
* high vibrations at low RPM and also when idleing.
* Check engine light ON
* Poor acceleration.
* hasitation  when i start accelerating,

What's i did  so  far:

* replaced Spark plugs
* replaced  the Belt and  the  clutch assemly
* cleaned the injection
* cleaned the throttle body

OBD  check  showed throttle body sensor mulfunction.

i feel that this is more of an AIR issue

Should i replace the Throttle body sensor or it's not connected to the  symptoms i am having.

Thank  you in advance
Appreciate  any help.

@fullt1wst welcome here,

* high vibrations at low RPM and also when idleing.
..most probably not related to other issues...

since I had lately a similar issue it might be worth to check your fuel supply.
-measure the fuelpumps pressure with a simple manometer or somewhere in a shop.
Needs appr. 3 bar to function properly within our injection system.

-do a TPS reset
-do failure code reset (ignore #3 or do it with an diagtool)

Maybe att link gives you some support.
