I have a '23 Kymco People 150i ABS scooter. Whenever I hit a manhole cover or any size pothole or bump in the road, one side of my windshields' stay squeaks or grinds. I tried shaking it and it does give slightly and makes the offending noise. The other side appears to be nice and tight. I believe they are 6mm bolts. What would be the recommended torque I could tighten this bolt to?

There should be a hat-shaped spacer/s and a rubber grommet/s there too.
For alu threads halve the torque.

A 6mm fastener?
Me??...I would not 'torque', or use a torque wrench, no matter how well calibrated - on something that small.
Snug by hand with a short wrench. Just 'snug' and stop!

Problem solved! Just snugged the bolt up. I took a good half turn, and now it's nice and tight. No more squeaks.
