Title: love getting new parts for a 40 year old bike!
Post by: Iahawk on June 05, 2024, 09:24:43 PM
just received my most recent order from CMSNL...2 new footpeg rubbers, a bolt for my rear sets, the tie rod adjuster for my shifter and a nut that was missing from under my seat. Total parts order, $34 USD plus $18.95 USD shipping from the Netherlands! My 84 Nighthawk is smiling in the garage. Absolutely love that I can still get new OEM parts for a 40 year old bike!

That whole post made me smile!
Have you discovered a hidden/treasure source for vintage Honda parts....or is this a well known source?
Do they do other makes of the Big Four?

Stig, Consolidated Motor Spares, Netherlands (CMSNL)...yes, they cover the big 4 with all kinds of NOS parts. I believe they buy up old dealer parts inventory to boost their stock. They have the parts schematics like all the sites, and then they list what they have available among those parts. Reasonably priced and the shipping is less than $20 USD! Amazing. So fun to find all the little bits and pieces for the bike.

thanks for the resource!

few years ago when I was restoring my '82 XV920R, I went to local Yamaha dealer to get the part no. for the 9" headlamp, Counter man looked it up and walked away.....WTF, to my surprise, he comes back with the headlamp, someone had ordered it a decade or more earlier, never came to pick it up, official Yamaha Service Manual too
