Title: Just got a kymco, need help getting it working againI

I got a kymco on Facebook marketplace (People 50 2009) and it was running fine when I picked it up, but we transported it for about 45 minutes on its side and it wouldn't run when it was unloaded. Now the electric start is  making a clunking noise and the kickstart won't work. The oil light comes on periodically. What should I do?

I had to look it up…and it shows this scoot is a 2 stroke. Does it have an external oil tank for oil injection or does it run pre mixed gas/oil?

A weak battery will cause a starter to make clicking or funny noises…not sure what you mean by the kick starter doesn’t work? It won’t start the scoot or it physically doesn’t move through its stroke, connected to and turning the engine?

Oil light comes on…how if the scoot doesn’t run? Or is it just one of the lights that come on when you initially turn the key?
