Title: Replacement throttle tube for People 300 GTI
Post by: agentparas on May 24, 2024, 04:28:39 AM
Hi there.
I recently purchased a 2015 People 300 GTI and I would like to change the worn-out grips. I hear through the forum that the grip on the throttle side is molded onto the scooter's throttle tube so I would like to replace the grip and throttle tube but I would like to avoid discovering more Kymco "quirks" about the throttle. Can anyone recommend what type of tube I should get? Thanks!

I purchase these 7 years ago and still going strong. No complaints. Super easy to install.

@agentparas, have a try at some shop close to you which fits your handsize most.

Think you mean the grip cover made from foam or another stuff? Or you want to change the gas assy?
Too big and too soft makes handling squirmy.
Kymcos do NOT vibrate that much as other brands

RH  grip cover is always a few mm wider in inner diameter than the left one.

-chose the one you like
-cut the old ones off
- push the new on (with water as lubricant only)
New ones of good quality fit tight without any glue applied.
