Hi just wondering I wanted to upgrade my carb on my K-pipe 125cc and wondered do you even need the vacuum lines if gravity is already pulling your fuel down anyway?
I also dont like the huge air filter box and would rather use a coned filter and or something smaller and better so my bike can get more air.

check the routing of the vacuum line, but I believe it opens a petcock on the fuel line, swap the vacuum petcock out for an old fashion manual petcock, sure, block off the vacuum line
my ZS190 has a cone filter, but also a 28mm carb

Definitely needed! It opens the fuel flow when the engine is running, and closes it when you shut down. OTW, it will be like the old days when the fuel keeps dribbling all over the road after shut down if you forget - and then no more gas! This is a much better shutoff than a manual shutoff because modern gas tanks are made from nylon, and the auto shutoff doesn't put any strain on the fitting. The coupling is a simple press fit, and lasts forever.
