Well, the Oxford rain over-jacket did its thing but...
inside my helmet, my butt and legs, collar, wrists, cuffs & scarf, 6 gloves, and my boots were wet.

Why ride out 2hrs before sunrise, in a heavy rain, 44°F & windy?
Because, it is banging @33°F, snowy with very high winds today.

Traffic was light  ::)
Coffee was good, and hot.

Nice Xmas pics.

Do you have a waterproof jacket? Preferably 20,000mm rating or higher as they do a marvellous job in the rain without the 'damp' feeling or wind-flapping of PVC.

Something like Dainese D-Dry works well.

I love this thing! 100% Hi-Viz, 100% waterproof, and the piping is very reflective at night~!.....AND it is sized to wear over all my armored riding jackets!
These 100% flo-yellow ones are getting hard to find. I just found one in my size and bought a spare for $32 with free shipping.

It adds a lot of warmth because the air/wind is sealed out - I wore it over a light sweater and over my FirstGear mesh armored jacket, this day.

Nice when you get home though, back in the warm & dry?  Good job you have spares of all the soaked items!

Loved the pictures, very festive.
