One time ol' Joe (1951/BMW w/sidecar, Reflex, etc.) went missing for 5 weeks. Getting a knee replaced at Ohio State.
When he walked in Dino hollered, "OMG - we thought you were dead!....and you owe me $15 on your tab."
So, OK - last week I had a cancer removed from my forehead. 26 stitches and an 87mm incision.
For months I thought the sore was caused by my helmet.
Went to the dermatologist.
Anyway...
Man - it was tough not riding the other night for coffee. Temps rose into the high 40's, it was raining and of course, dark!
Perfecto!
The night before - my wife caught me out in the garage fooling with the battery tender.....
Took my keys.
Tomorrow I get the zipper taken out of my head and it is going to be 47 that night!!
Mrs Stig, "too soon!"
She's correct, I know.
BTW: I don't run a 'tab' with Dino. I pay as I go. Fighter pilots and scooter riders in Ohio do this.

I think 'non riding' Stig has even more content for us than 'riding' Stig does! Glad you caught the spot on your forehead and had it removed. You'd mentioned something about a procedure recently but I don't believe you went into any detail. Skin cancer is scary..easily treated if caught early..troublesome if not.
Hang in there, Stig, there will be plenty of cold, dark, rainy days for your riding pleasure in the future!
