(if my daughter hadn't made me take ours down from last year - 3 weeks ago - I'd have been the first !!)
The hotel does a nice job. Guests get are right in the middle of the Holiday night festival - fireworks, music, food trucks, etc.

Ah Christmas. Been the subject of much discussion chez nous. Do we cater for the multitude again or bite the bullet and slope off to the holiday home for a quiet one?
I know which I’d prefer, but suspect I also know which way it’ll go.

Fortunately my oldest son has a very big house. He loves to host these dinners. His poor wife.......
She's a sweetheart who always acts like she's happy to see us all queuing up to use her 3 bathrooms!
When I host one of these things - it is always at the State Park shelter house.
I have some 35-something children, grandchildren, and an unknown # greats.
My wife even knows all their names!
