Rode over to a 55mph state route this morning going south for coffee on my 155cc, 2018, Liberty.
Waited for clear traffic and gave it the beans.*
I saw 64MPH on the speedo - tires properly inflated - probably - no wind, no breakfast. 265lbs, a touch over 6'3" - sitting bolt upright like a man reading the New Yorker on the loo. About as aerodynamic as a box of Rice Chex. Might have been 3 or 4 better than last tested - few yrs ago.

Big/wheel scooter stable.

* of course, this being Ohio I soon collected a tailgater out of nowhere. Blinding in my mirrors. I adjusted the L mirror - but one cannot do that at 60mph with the throttle mirror and a car in your tail light.

that's an impressive top speed run for a man of your..um...larger than averageness? 8)
And of course you get a tailgater...a little unnerving when you're already at WOT.

Well, it wasn't like we rocketed up to that speed🙂
I could have gone for a sandwich and not missed much.
I don't think my LIKE200I can equal that...but the LIKE200I has more punch off the line!
Might be the DrPulleys doing that. I run stock parts in the Liberty, save for Iridium NGK.

Can’t complain at that velocity Stig given all the aerodynamics acting against the little motor!

Figure that this scooter has the typically 10% optimistic speedo...so more like 58 or so mph.
Only scooter that I ever had with an accurate speedo was the Honda Forza...after I destroyed the rear tire the only replacement dealer had was slightly oversized. Absolutely 0'd my speedo!

Like helo and ag pilots going above low altitudes and above low speeds get nose bleeds if they exceed. Fear the nose bleed speed....

The speedo on my Like 150i is about 5% off and the speedo on my ADV150 is spot on. I run them both up to 60 or more pretty frequently.

Noticed my DTX360 speedo is within 1 mph of spot on too.
