Hey guys, new to the forum and looking at buying a 2015 450i on FB marketplace. Guy is only asking $800, apparently he let it sit last year and now it bogs down when he hits the throttl, who knows. I like messing with stuff, and have been looking at getting a cheap toy to mess with and play with. I'm no mechanic, but am handy and a tradesman, so my question is, are these overly difficult quads to work on? Would I certainly be throwing away $800, or is it worth picking up and trying to get to run right? Thanks!

They are good machines and fairly fast. The engine is bullet proof with proper care. The problem is getting parts...they need to come from Tiwan so with the political issues going on, certain parts are very scarce !! I have the side by side 450i and it has been flawless since Jan 2016.. I do take excellent care of my stuff though.
