Title: 2013 kymco downtown 300i parts availability
Post by: Red zx50 on August 29, 2023, 05:26:12 PM
Hi guys, im looking into '13 kymco downtown 300i
Im just wondering about parts availability as there is no local dealer around me (western Canada) .
I looked online and parts seem to be more then well known brand names and parts are more readily from well known brands at least in North America.

The reason i would like to get another Kymco is that i already have ZX50 and im happy with it ,but just parts availability is my concern befre i get one

Thank you guys

I have a second 2013 DT300i and have needed only gas, oil, tires and one relay in 40000 miles (added together). I would stll have the first one had it not been stolen and wrecked.

Easy enough to get consumables for servicing (e.g. oil filters, air filters, belts, rollers, bulbs, tyres, batteries, brake pads) as they share parts with other Kymco scooters, including the newer DT350i. A bit more difficult to get specific parts such as fairings, windshields and plastics unless you're willing to pay a premium from online international suppliers from Taiwan or Europe.

LEA7 is the code for DT300 parts, ACD5 is the code for DT350 parts.

Otherwise the DT300i is a reliable bike, only minor issues. This thread will give you some details. https://www.kymcoforum.com/index.php?topic=23676.0
