Title: I light up the works when I stop for pix
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on August 23, 2023, 04:37:12 PM
Set the e-brake and the turn signal....before I dismount. (often to fall backwards over a fence, into a bean field, or stepping in drainage ditch., or have a meet-up with a guy in a wife-beater and his pitbull Janie!)

In Europe the turn signals are either side of the center brake light - with pods on stalks deleted.
I prefer the N.American version - all 3 lamps light on the rear when braking! Signals are moved to the pods on stalks, front and rear :)

Not joking ---" to fall backwards over a fence, into a bean field, or stepping in drainage ditch., or have a meet-up with a guy in a wife-beater and his pitbull Janie!"

That white wife beater shirt materializing out of the dark behind me - was pretty special.

"Whacha' doon?....this is Janie - she don't bite..."
"what?"
" you're taking pitchers!?"
" of what?"

Once I'm in Y.S. even the police no longer pay much attention to me poking around in the dark.
Gettin' there can be fun.
