anyone know where i can get a rear disk setup for a 2008 super 9 and what exactly i would need to change on the bike
-
Have you done a search on google? How about a 2009 model do they use a rear disc setup? If so why not get a 2009 swingarm, rear wheel, caliper and rotor? I would keep an eye out on ebay.

My 2009 super 9 ac has no disc brake setup for the rear wheel. Drum brake that is pretty useless. Then again, the front brake isn't all that great either. So a better back brake would be excellent. I will be watching for any replies on this one as I wouldn't mind a decent brake setup myself. Mudfreek, let us know if you find anthing.

i got another question on the super 9s hen u derestrict the cdi will u have the same failer rate as the zx 50 that was my last bike and she finaly died
-
Rear disc brakes on the AC Super 9 will be a headache. I may be missing a few things, but at a minimum you will need:
LC transmission housing (they are different)
LC gear set
LC rear wheel
LC brake disc
LC brake caliper
LC brake line, master cylinder, brake handle, etc
Swing arm
LC exhaust (AC exhaust is different, because AC model does not have the swingarm. You could modify the stock exhaust to work though...)
There's probably a few more bits I forgot.
For the CDI, switching to the LC CDI works great, but you've got to rewire a bunch of stuff to make it work. Just did one a few weeks go and it runs like a champ.
Hope that helps some.
