So took the scooter with the best headlight when I saw how hard it was raining when I lifted the garage door!
The Piaggio has a 55/60W headlight - the LIKE200i has a 35/35 headlight.
Overnight forecast for rain was correct!
Heading out 90mins before sunrise. Conditions look....."sporty"!

Difficult to keep equipment dry when raining this hard!

These Asian scoots aren't bothered a bit by the rain. (I asked Vivo about this once, "Will my Kymco do OK in the rain?" He pointed out that they average 12 typhoons a year where he lives - and he commutes to work on his every morning.)
I figured it was too warm for rain over-pants. Mistake! My Bullit armored jeans soaked thru!
Oxford rain over-jacket kept me dry! Leather gloves drying atop some spray cans :)
Nice ride - good coffee.

Scooter gets a freshwater rinse, a leaf-blower dry and toweled off after these messy wet rides across a couple of counties.
Once or twice a year an application of ACF-50.

Recently discovered that, whilst my Bull-It jeans are showerproof, they certainly ain’t waterproof! A downpour riding back from Liverpool (son’s Mod 1 motorcycle test) left me with a soggy gusset!
In case anyone has been following son’s progress with his motorcycle tests, he successfully passed his Mod 2 (on road) test yesterday and now has his full UK motorcycle licence. So my rides on his KTM Adventure 890 are likely to be far fewer in number now…

Riding pants nearly dry this morning - gloves might be another day or so. Drying on a couple cans of Honda/Pro polish.
