Title: I have a 2005 MXU 250 that won't start.

When the key is turned on, the lights and display light up.  When the brake is applied to start the atv, the lights and display go out and it won't start.  It is in neutral and has a new battery.

Do you normaly have to hold break to crank? I start my atv in "N" without holding break , but then again I have 450 so I am not sure...
