July in Ohio is grilling time!
I sit on the back porch and try not to set fire to the meats, or the fence, or one of my daughter's veggie burgers....and enjoy my new discovery, "MIKE'S Hard Lemonade" (I don't do beer. Never have. And prefer small scooters. All very un-American)

A few years ago we had a simple dinner , al fresco, in St Petersburg, FL. Daughter and I ordered the 'garden burger', which was a large grilled portabella mushroom 'burger'!
It was amazing!
Now I look for these at our local grocers. Paint them with melted butter and a little garlic!

I have a school mate whose family was stationed in Sweden (or Norway??) in the 70's. He said their diet consisted of fish, fish, maybe some shrimp. And fish.

Last night I had a night off from cooking and we had a curry delivered. It was delicious, daughter stated probably the best she’d ever had!
So if you’re un-American, I’d say our Friday night fare was typically British 😂🤣

You Brits and your curry!
We grab tacos or pizza or Chipotle (?)...and Chinese...
Have never had curry ....but one night we joined my wife's boss for a Happy Diwali banquet.
I tried !!!....but came away quite disappointed.
Nada-thing worked for me. Zip!

Experienced curry first time on Ceylon, before it was named Sri Lanka: what a treat! Tex-Mex close but no cigar!

I was eating take out Chinese last night when I read your post about grilling...no way I was going to post a pic of my plastic food containers!
