Title: Kymco DT 300i speed restriction

My new DT 300i 2014 comes with a speed restriction, going only 130 km/h. The guy I bought it from
said that it was only one screw which made the restriction.

Anyone know where the restriction could be? In the ECU? A throttle limiter? or in the engine?

I have had two DT300i bikes (still have one) and can testify neither were/are restricted in any way. There is nothing I actually know mechanically to change power/rpm/torque. There MAY be a way to reprogram the ECU. There IS an add-on electronic device to externally remap timing and fuel mixture to increase power out and such.
