Well the Givi Windshield finally arrived from Italy. Having some mounting problems. Seems the bikes in Roma do not have US turn signals. The uprights also appear to stand at a oddball angle :(
I loosened all the mounting hardware on the uprights and attached the windshield to see if that would help with spacing. No joy yet. I may be forced to to make some custom spacers or something. I wonder if the 150i master cylinders could be larger that the ones for the earlier Like 125 and Like 150II models.
It is still over 90 degrees outside so I decided to take a cool down break.

Photos of your issues?
Turn pods interfering with wind screens is also an issue with some screens and newer Vespas.
Vespa/Piaggio have kits to delete the USA turn pods....lighting the signals in the front leg shield....as seen outside the US.

After my cool down break I took another go at it.
I have it mounted now but I digressed a bit from the GIVI instructions to get a better fit.
I now need to go back and look at it in the daylight.
Light was not advantageous for taking pictures at midnight :(

Modifications to the Givi instructions:
1) I used the US turn Signal pods in place of the Givi spacer to attach the upright bracket to the bottom of the brake master cylinder. Those pods have a stem that is 5 to 6 mm shorter than the Givi Spacer. The pod stem has a tab that aligns the turn signal to the master cylinder. Thus a spacer can not be used between the top of the stem and bottom of the master cylinder.
2) I installed the windshield to the left and right upright brackets. I snugged those fasteners down but with just a tad free movement. All the other fasteners were left lose. Then I tugged, twisted, slid and otherwise manhandled the windshield into what seemed the best alignment. Then I tightened all fasteners in place.
Repeat step 2 as required .... :-\
I still need to go back and make some fine adjustments and lock-tite (blue) everything into place. The windshield is a a bit taller than I had hoped. The seems to be just a bit higher than my helmet. I may go back later and trim 150 to 250 inches mm off the top. I am not overly impressed with Givi's solution for the mirror mounts. I will post high res pictures to my web site later today. This old fart needs to take his morning nap.
Update:
high res photos now posted

Looks interesting but I have now have time and money in the GIVI ... I am gonna make it work !
I got the Givi because of the name brand (foolish) and it was the only one specifically design to fir round the unusual shaped headlight. I think that I want to apply some 'tinting' to the back side as well. Also thinking about adding Cell phone and GPS holders.

The pods are below the windshield ... but just barely. I believe the practical solution here may be to 'adjust' the angle on the OEM signal mounts down a bit ... perhaps a 30 degree angle.

Agreed - all these screen mounts which rely on using the mirror mounts look awkward!
But, they do raise the mirror from its stock position - which a lot of riders need to improve their rear vision in the mirrors.
I like how Piaggio welds a mount for screens onto the handle bars. It's in there, if you need it. Makes for a clean installation.
