Title: Bike Week
Post by: randyo on June 15, 2023, 04:39:41 PM
Laconia's 100th. I live about 15 miles southeast. I can hear the rumble of one of the primary routes in. about 3/4 mile away as the crow flies. Normal traffic patterns don't apply when running regular errands. Gas stations are clogged with bikes. In the past, I have done my best to avoid Laconia during bike week, but sometimes unavoidable, I have had to testify as expert witness at the superior court in Laconia, an old building, no AC, windows open during bike week, glad they weren't jury trials, the judge was forever asking me to speak louder, it was like yelling at my co-workers when doing land survey field work.

However, now I'm retired, and thinkin of going to Laconia on my K-Pipe.

Remember going to South Dakota one year just as the Sturgis Rally was ending.  What a sight!

I was up from Tuesday to Thursday riding my Royal Enfield Interceptor with some other RE riders, good times.
