Title: 2019 200i starter issues

Hi Everyone!
My 200i has been running perfect since I got it around 6 months back but all of a sudden it is having problems starting.
Sometimes the engine light comes on, other times it doesn't, different noises every time and happens completely sporadically, sometimes first thing in the morning other times after coming out from the shop after riding already for 20 minutes! Seems the only solution when this happens is to open the throttle and then start as you can see in the video attached.

I do a lot of short trips on the bike can this cause these issues?

I think your short frequent rides might be running down your battery.
I would pick up a suitable battery tender to keep your battery charged.
A new battery might give you temp relief...but it will run down again too with short frequent rides....unless you use a battery tender.
