Hello all, wanted to introduce myself, my name is Johnny and I've been lurking for a while but do appreciate all the info here by you guys, i have learned a lot! Anyhow, here are my bikes: starting from your left if you are facing the monitor, 2004 Honda CH80 Elite (sold), 2005 Kymco S9 LC, 2003 S9 LC as well, and the last one is a Minarelli-based Chinese Scoot.

Needles to say the Kymcos are the better rides, yes, even better than the 4-stroke Honda Elite with bigger 80cc motor. The Chinese scooter is not bad-easy to get parts for, lower center of gravity and cheap! But the "best buy" are definately the Kymco Super 9's!!!

Hi- great bikes!
I need some of your insight. I bought a '09 ac super 9 and it runs great but there is also a 2003 lc super 9 for 1000 dollars and only 1000 miles. sound like a good upgrade? I talked to a dealer and he blew it off saying the super 9 lc was a proprietary engine that was not well supported for parts and generally kind of a pain. He was a used bike dealer and just didn't honestly think the LC was a bike that will hold up in the long run. the forum here seems to say otherwise. I don't really see modding the bike much other than the typical de-restricts that are pretty easy. I am no engineer. cdi, variator boss decent exhaust and carb work but that is about as far as I want to go. Any ideas? thanks
