Title: City Grip II for LIKE200i arrived
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on April 01, 2023, 03:38:24 PM
48 hrs after ordering the tire was at my door. in a big box.

I had some questions not answered in the ad..."was it reinforced" . a true "front/rear mounting"?
Yes, and "FRONT & REAR " arrows both found on the tire.

How old is it?
manufactured nearly last week of December 2022 (51st week, 22 year)

Presently studying all the steps for the wheel removal - (it's been several years) then decide who will mount it.
Sure wish the LIKE had the Liberty's slip-off exhaust, and a less troublesome fender hugger!
Will renew the brake with new pads.
Stig

PS: although it's humorously marked "M & S" (mud & snow) it is not marked with a snowflake - so not a true winter tire - this tire is likely to never see either , if I can help it!
NOTE - if ordering do not specify "REAR" when looking for this size - it will show none are available .
But if you click "front/rear" - this size will pop up! (for months I looked the wrong way!)

I wonder if my dealer parts counterman made the same mistake?

you got a new tire there. Reading the DOT it states that it was manufactured on May 1st 2022. Did you ever decide if you were going to install them yourself stig?
