Hope he made it!
I once carried a 6' live-cut Xmas tree home on our CB350 in Texas.
Bungeed sideways on the rear rack.
The bike was our only vehicle when in medic training.
Then I had to go back for my wife.
Hey - we were teenagers - seemed like an OK idea.

But - this guy's load looked pretty iffy....
