Hey all
Is the air filter supposed to smell like gasoline? I had a small drop of oil or something just where the outtake is inside the air box and my filter had an odor of gasoline... Is this normal or is something wrong?

Hi, aokark. I don't know much about it, but have you seen this topic yet? I'm reading it now...

Thank you, reading about it now :)

This is very common in 2-stroke engines as there is nothing stopping unburned fuel from coming back out through the throat of the carburetor. From what I've seen in taking apart the Agility 50 carburetor, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have a 4 stroke, does that matter?

just take out the filter and wash with a good dish soap and pad dry with a cloth. and you well be good.
I do that all the time.

Thank you! :)

Make sure it isn't the paper filter that comes as OEM on the scoot.
Washing only works if it is a foam filter!
Do not wash a paper filter!
