OK, I have had the bike a few months now and thought I'd do a quick follow-up. In short, I freaking love this bike! 8)
My 850 cc motorcycle is sold, this scooter is definitely all I need. Plenty of get up and go, comfy, styling, decent brakes and handy storeage. I don't mind that the underseat won't take my helmet as the top-box takes care of that while the puncture repair kit/tools/wet weather pants live under the seat.
OEM tyres are pretty good and are holding up well at 8500 km.
Lights are great and the horn has some authority.
I bought front and rear brake pads from a dealer and was frankly shocked at the price...more than twice what I've previously paid for pads for any bike in the past.
Apart from that rude shock, happy days. I'd get another in a heartbeat :)

Thanks for the report back and glad you’re loving the ride!

The GT does not show up for sale here in the USA often, same with the Downtown. Owners seem to hold on to them.

yes, pretty rare, here. I've always liked the flat floored 300's..good looking and practical.
