This Reflex, parked alongside my Forza a few years ago, is having issues.
Spoke with the owner (Joe) this morning in Y.S. where he was having breakfast.
Asked about his scooter....."Not good! It has been dying on the road - usually far away from home!"
He said he's had every bit of plastic off of it - bought new fuel pump - didn't help. Put the old one back on. No diff.
He's a pretty good mechanic - keeping a fleet of old Toyotas running, and his pristine '51 BMW w/sidecar, etc. - but this Japanese scooter has him stumped.
I'm getting him a genuine NSS-250 service manual - and we'll see if we can get it running again.
At 78, with bad knees, bad hip and recently injured ribs - he's no longer enjoying pushing it home!

Shame that. Good luck with the fault finding.

Need blow-by-blow updates on this one!

I joined that adventure rider (Sp?) forum to see if I could get some insight on a fix. Just have to figure out how to use that forum to search for Reflex threads. Greek to me.
Also - Joe has a car-port only - So it would be a little damp and chilly out there working on his red bomber. My garage is many miles away - and I dare not put a 3rd scooter in there....!
This fix might take a bit.
I'll post if we get it running. He loves that red scooter - but 3 or 4 road breakdowns are getting him ready to make a yard planter out of the thing if it's too hard to sort. (if my LIKE ever gets to be unreliable - I'll save the bits off of it and put them on a new, left-over LIKE200i for another 10 yrs of bullet-proof riding)

Heck - if can keep his tow-truck running - the scooter should be easy?
