I stopped here on the way home to say howdy and to retie my scarf. The crosswind was vicious! (25mph+)
By the time I was all set - they were mooing up a storm - and I noted that the dozen out in the field had come over to stand at the bank of the stream to see what all the fuss was about.

I felt bad for them because it had been raining off and on --- and a mile up the road another big shower washed over me....with fierce crosswinds out of the west! I mean - I had rain gear on ......

It's 40 F here with about 80% humidity and a breeze. I enjoy your riding posts in this cold, but I can't talk myself into getting the Downtown out of the garage.

I liked to have froze at the Toledo, WA airport in 40°F weather doing tin work for dinky airplanes. Had a kerosene heater under the bench and two 500 watt flood lights over the bench and I strayed not far for very long!

Oh you can't lay there in that comfy warm bed and vote on it.
Just get up and go do it.
Once you're out there and the scoot is rolling down the road in the dark....the roads mostly to yourself, fresh morning smells - good fresh hot coffee just ahead....you'll admit this was a good idea!
