Are the odometers on Super 8s sold in the US calibrated in Kilometers or Miles?

mine is miles...

Main gauge displays the mph as the dominant speedo reading and the odometer ticks by too slowly to be km...

2009 S8 150 for reference...

I measured off a half a mile in my truck then rode it on the scooter.  It read .6 miles.  I need to do it over a longer distance.  it appears the odometer is in miles but that it is optimistic just like the speedometer.

You may not get a correct number considering the calibration is about 5-8 mph optimistic...

anyway, I just figured that draining my gas tank at 90 "units" meant it was reading in miles because if it were kilometers it would mean I only goy 54 miles to an entire tank...

90 miles to the tank is closer to reality.

I checked the odometer over a longer distance today.  It seems to read slightly higher than my truck but it definitely reads in miles.
