The manual recommends for solo riders 22 / 29 PSI.
However, we've installed new tyres of different brand. Should I keep the same pressure or it should be changed according to the tyre brand?

Use the same figures.
You installed the same size tires, yes?

I like to keep within 10% of the tire's max psi. Believe most mfgrs recommend that.
You'll get a better, more responsive ride, w higher mph and in my experience, longer wear.
Makes no sense to me to fill a tire w max psi of 32 the same as one w max of 41.
Could bike mfgr's recommended psi be based on the oem tires?

I tend to default to the mfr recommendations on tire pressures but will also play with the number a little bit. I keep my NInja dead on at the suggested pressure, the S200 slightly above and my Helix quite a few psi higher than recommended based on other people's experiences with tire life.

I once accidentally did 22 / 32 PSI and it handled pretty nicely, however it was a bit hard on my lower back so I decided to go back to 29.
