Leaves.
Wouldn't mind 'em if they'd just stay up there!
Just change colors ....and stay up there!
Seemed like a nice idea when I brought these 7 trees home in my VW bus a couple decades ago....
(My birch tree is the biggest owner-planted tree in this whole 25 yr old platt)

The old farm fence-line in the back yard ...is a ridiculous jungle jamboree of senior trees for assorted squirrels, including two blackies. A billion more leaves.*

leafy canyon on my scooter route...

If You work at it - there's lots to complain about.....when I shouldn't!

*my new $250 roof!

I know Stig, getting them all up is a pig of a job. We have a bunch of mature oaks etc., next door so the sweeping up will start soon. Lovely autumn 🍂 colours though.

Oh no, I'm in School of Mulch!
Haven't picked up a leaf in decades.
They get massaged with my Honda mulching push mower (well, it's self propelled)
Years ago read an article from U. of Kansas agricultural dept., "mulch!, don't mow"
Kept looking until I found facts which agreed with my thinking......let me see, where'd I pick that up?
After rain last night, my yard looks like I did not spend 2.75 hrs mulching yesterday.
Hoping for big winds. Share my bounty with neighbors!

Just to reassure you, all "our" leaves go for compost.
