Title: OK, first miserable ride this fall but found shelter!
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on October 18, 2022, 09:30:37 PM
High 30's, spitting somethings, wind blowing like it's trying to blow Winter in all in one day! Leaves flying, cats flying...

Fortunately for me the Current Cuisine restaurant/deli/caterer place people did not put their furniture away last night!

I was able to build a spot in a corner, sit and watch the children and small animals blow by while I had my hot coffee!

Daylight coming. Time to head home.

Never certain which is best in high winds: side stand or center stand?

I’d go side stand and brake clamp Sir. Mind you, with Like pushing 200 kgs, it’d have to be a very strong wind (tornado strong?) to cause you a problem?

264 lbs according to my owner's manual. (@120kg?)
That big sail of a Bestem box worries me sometimes...the very rare winds from the south can really blow down that main drag of Y.S.!
