Title: some say this is a controversial bit of kit

Wore this today.

When I started wearing  this all black* armored leather ICON jacket 5 years ago in the dark ------(https://i.postimg.cc/cCrZq4Wx/ICONSanctuary.jpg)

I didn't do it until I had this hi viz vest to wear over it!

Wow! First time since I’ve been on here that the mysterious Stig has broken cover!  If that really is you?

Anyway this side of the pond it’s not the jacket that’s controversial but the vest. People who wear them here get a lot of stick on SM. Me I say live and let live and you’ve more chance of that wearing it, than not!!

Yeah - no, I meant the vest.
What is "SM"?
