So I was finally able to make some time to go look at scooters... Unfortunately they only had 2010 models which were a little more than I expected but I'm still happy :)
OTD total was $2145, that's including helmet, on-guard chain lock, title, tag and registration and dealer fee and the new 2010 Kymco Agility 50 4t scooter of course :-P
He could not lower the price on the scooter but I got a 30% discount on the helmet and the lock.

Congratulations and welcome to the Agility family!
Make sure you grab a copy of the service manual which is online. You'll find it a valuable resource.
Go choice on the lock - keep that baby safe!
Safe scooting and let us know how it is going.
-
Thank you :) I will!
I'll most likely stick around here, bunch of nice people who knows their stuff!
-
We all try to help out the best we can.
Hope you do stick around.

Nice lookin' scoot, aokark! Congrats!!
Does your helmet fit under the seat?
Wow, my scoot doesn't have the KYMCO letters across the front above the headlight like yours and oswaldters does. Guess I got sticker-robbed.
-
I think you got a redone front end is what you got...
-
Yes! My helmet fit under the seat perfectly! but I have a small head, it's a size S-55,56. Looks pretty big though for a small so not sure what size would really fit in the box.
hehe and thank you!

-
That's great your helmet fits, aokark! I was hopin' it would. You got a nice lock too. I don't have a lock yet. So you ride it yet?
I think you got a redone front end is what you got...
No Doubt!! New with warranty is the way to go when you can afford it!!

I took it from South Beach to Miami Shores (about 11 miles) and then from Miami Shores to Doral (about 19 miles)
So far it seems to go well! Meter says 35mph but I'm guessing it's like 30.
-
That's awesome. You're loving it already! Yeah, the speedometers on these scoots is funny like that.

yes, the are definitely in glass half full camp - hopelessly optimistic!
-
I like the look of that exhaust system on the scoot - very different than mine!
Maybe Kymco made a change for the 2010 model.
-
Great! Know you're stoked! ;D

Looks great, I have the Red one. One of the things I was told was to try and always run the chain through the back wheel. You can get the front wheel off in a minute if prepared. The back wheel means taking the entire bike apart almost. Other than that, I remember when mine was all shinny and new ;D Happy Scooting
-
Oh yea I agree with you there, and that's what I do when I lock it elsewhere... But where I live I must park front first so it's either leave it with just the back wheel locked to nothing or the front wheel locked to a pole... We do have 24h security around here though so I guess that helps a bit.

Welcome to the family. I got my start on an a50. I wish I still had one... Id give it to my parents.
oh well...
keep us posted and keep riding.
