Title: Floppy mirrors
Post by: RollsRoyce on August 08, 2022, 05:18:05 PM
Greetings, all. I have a recently acquired 2017 Downtown 300i.  Does anybody know how to tighten the mirrors on this thing?  They don't just thread into a socket; they've got an electrical connection (for turn signal lights in the mirrors) and a thin bolt sitting down in a recession that's too narrow to get a socket in there.  Am I gonna hafta take the handlebars apart?

Dunno RR, that’s not the setup on my X-Town, but there are plenty of DT300 owners on here who I’m sure will be able to help.

Oh and welcome to the forum; great choice of scooter!

A buddy ground down a socket to fit in that space.
