Saw this today when going for lunch with my daughter in Yellow Springs.

A nice quiet Kawasaki rolled up near our table on the sidewalk...
A very senior rider dismounted in full gear. Mid 80's today but low humidity.

As always on any day of decent weather, the town was full of visitors. A young girl singing with a Ukulele; an older lady playing the violin; young fellow with small steel drum; a lady painting along the sidewalk, etc.
Each got a couple of $ for their efforts.
And my daughter showed me that a (meatless) veggie & cheese sandwich on sourdough can be....well, it was very good actually.

*when waiting and reserving our sidewalk table while my daughter ordered lunch in the Current Cuisine - three young gals passed, and one said she really liked my hat! It was not the only smile I received while in town today :)

I was watching a video shot in 1967 in Pleiku, S. Vietnam - saw several of these ride by - spitting image of this one.
Honda holds the record with these I think....and IMHO - launched the motorcycle interest in this country.
"You meet the nicest people on a Honda!"....started appearing in 1963, I think.
I bought my new while Honda 90 in 1967....for @ $260. Quality at an amazing price. Wife and I ran the heck out of that thing all over New England....for @ 14 mos. until Uncle Sam came calling.

My college room mate had a Honda C110 that he road back and forth from LA to San Francisco twice to visit his mom. He stayed on the old Hwy 1 through all the coastal towns to avoid the freeway.
