Yesterday while i was driving all of the sudden loud noise started coming from engine, it sounded like it was construction worker breaking concrete. I turned the engine off and pushed the bike back home. I have enough fresh oil and new filter, checked the coolant level - all good there.. Now when i start the bike i hear this noise..

I don't see any leaks under the bike.. what do you guys think what went wrong ?
thanks

Sounds like something came loose in the CVT.
-
As CROSSBOLT writes,
-CVT cover off
-maybe something shows up
-check all nuts tight?
-belt off
- idle
- clutch off...and so on

Yep! you guys were right the sound is coming from CVT housing, as soon i catch some time i'll open the CVT and report back..i'm so happy that nothing major broke in engine..weather is beautiful now.. don't want to mis out on rides this summer.

Unless you pour sand in the crankcase, I think you would have no worries over THAT engine! It's built like a Honda an' ya cain't kill 'em!
We anxiously await your next post....

It was the best possible outcome, nothin broke, nothing snapped .. only thing that happened is the main screw on front pulley axle came loose so that front pulley fins made contact with CVT cover. I have inspected everything, no major damage, put everything back, after putting two drops of loctite on front axle nut.
Thanks for help !

Yep - that nut comes off it'll sure get your attention!
