Not finding a stock replacement carb from your dealer?

I would never trust a carb from Amazon, I would go with factory only....you would be better off rebuilding your factory carb than getting a universal wannabe might work from Amazon.

I am sure the factory carb would be the best way, but cash flow is my problem, for the time I Would like to try an aftermarket cheap carb, I am told that the artic cat 500 and some Yamaha’s have the same type carb? Unknown that is why I am asking for your help please and thank you.Moenes

Fair enough - understood, a Kymco part will not be cheap.
OK, hopefully someone here will be able to guide you after being in this same situation?
Otherwise - you are going to have to do some very careful investigation on your own.....measuring, studying photos and comparing to your Kymco carb - you DO have the Kymco carb, yes?
I guess I should have asked that first. You have the stock carb, but can't get it to work, or??

not a Kymco, last year, I was pleasantly surprised, a genuine Honda carb for a GX160 motor I have, was only $26 at my local Honda dealer, only $5 more than a rebuild kit for the same carb. No brainer. couple things I have discovered, when rebuilding carbs, or brake calipers, check the price of new

Kymco part number is:
16100-LEE8-900
From a USA Kymco dealer, should be around $300.00

Yes I have the stock carb, has been sitting all year, when I check the plug there is no fuel, than I clean the carb, than hit it, shake and touch everything, than do a little dance and it start, May stall 5 mins later than I do the dance again and May start if is in the mod..I have fuel pressure, spark etc, but a dry spark plug, you can only clean it so many times, something is not right, always spark plug is dry, so yes it is a guess that is why I want to try a cheap carb, I am surprised that no one has tried a carb off amizion , I know Kymco makes May items for artic cat but I can’t find which carb to cross over to, does anyone know what model and year it maybe on an artic cat. Thank you again for any help

Those that try cheap carbs from Amazon have no luck with them, a driend runs a small engine repair shop ( lawn mowers etc) he has tried numerous amazon carbs with no sucess but the customer insists he try those first. Maby other forum post poor results drom cheap import carbs. Just rebuild the factory carb with a good rebuild kit..

I am surprised that no one can recommend or send me to an aftermarket carb, is there another Kymco forum ?can anyone send me a link to a rebuilt kit? Thank you,

Yes ...well.
Probably.
Might try contacting the Asian sellers of the new carb on ebay for your kit.

There are a couple of carb repair kits for the Kymco 500 listed in various places - you've looked , and they won't work?
