Title: Piaggio developing ADAS reflectors

Some new cars have the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
...which have difficulty 'seeing' motorcycles and scooters because of their smaller size.
Piaggio is exploring the development of "reflectors" for all 4 sides of a scooter to increase their visibility to these cars.
It would be great if we no longer had to worry about being rear-ended.
