Title: HI - Just picked up a...
Post by: zonker on May 02, 2022, 11:03:58 PM
2013 Kymco Like 50 2T.
Got it from a guy who had it sitting for years in his garage because the battery was dead and he lost his keys, or so the story goes.
Now I have the task of picking locks and replacing the ignition switch and battery to see if it even runs.

My first question is this - is there any online sources I can download a service manual for free?
I found a paper one on eBay for $41, but before I plunge into that, I want to see what's out there on the web.

Second question is regarding ignition switch. The switch I pulled from the bike has 4 wires going to a plastic connector, plus a single black w/ white stripe wire with a small bullet terminal on the end. The ones I've seen as cheap replacements have the correct 28mm mounting and 4 wire connector but they don't have the extra black/white wire. Do I need that extra wire or can I make it work with the single 4 wire connector setup?

Thanks for your time and happy scootin'!
