Beat you both. I cleaned my AK a few weeks ago and there were a few bug splats from several weeks before that.

no bug splats for me, but I have found tics crawling, both dog tics and the tiny deer tics

Didn't know tics can crawl as fast as any scooter so to just hop on for the ride.  :)

they can crawl on when parked, especially after a ride, attracted by the heat of the engine, and lay in wait
