Parked.....waiting for the rising sun to stop blinding me!
I must head home sooner....or later!
Sun glare absolutely 💯 impossible to ride safely.
Patience my boy....

Yeah, forget everything. Who are you....?

Sun---try 3/4 helmet with long duck bill visor=works well but getting harder and harder to find duck bill visors. Tilt of head allows you to move safely on.

No, John -
Your idea doesn't work - not for that 15>20 mins when the sun is sitting this low.
I had to pull to the curb, use my fingers to block the sun to find the color of the stop light just ahead - then time my self to get through the green. I have 3 lights which must be passed that way. (once again - sunny days are my least favorite times to ride )
The cars behind me are blind to my presence as well - all the way down this street - and if I were dumb if I were to sit at these red lights.
I just need to remember this next time - stay in my coffee village longer or leave with enough time to get home before sunrise.
My tape on the face shield doesn't work either when sun is this low.

PS:
in the 60's I rode in a open face Bell helmet with a Jim Clark visor snapped on it
