Title: Move settled/Kymco dealer found
Post by: john grinsel on February 24, 2022, 01:51:13 PM
Move to WI completed/bought brand new house, garage fine/ will be 83 in May/Xtown 300i gone/ have found Kymco dealer 60 miles away.  Have to go look, Ric Lake WI I think in bike business a long time.   Only Kymco I am interested in Super 8 150 X---comes with both center and side stands/air cooled/been around long time and probably would not break in my use----would like to ride to Hyder AK again next summer.   Could consider Spade---but is there 2022 model?----Lack of strong dealer network bothers me----but blow up on long trip/leave bike or rent small van to get it home---cheap bike, your loss is not great.

Have you gone off the idea of the 100cc Honda then John?  Pleased to hear you're moved in OK now.

Honda Super Cub 125 in US market does not come with side stand or luggage rack 2022----I know I can get accessories from Thailand, but why when I am spending my money?  Like turn key as much as possible.   Had C-90 Cub with front basket and freight luggage rack on Okinawa-----worked great for all of my needs----hauling groceries and later trash.   I am satisfied with Kymco quality/price/ big trip and blows up----just leave it and ride bus home or rent van and go home in ac controlled comfort.   Just no strong national dealer network.

I love the plan…bike blows up on trip you just push it off the road and walk away!
