The Mrs. decides she is called (another of her 'visions' perhaps) to go to work at the Dr's office this morning.
Ohio is layered with ice, after 12 hrs.
First.
Then blowing snow all night.
Step one: garage door is frozen to the ground*. I get it thawed.(with salt)
She backs out, straightens out.
Moves about 6 feet.....I close the garage door and go make coffee. I'm not going to watch.
There's a knock on the door.
I put cream in my coffee.
Another knock.
Daughter hollers - "Dad, someone's knocking on the door!"
Me: "It's my Vietnam book from Thrift Books - he'll leave it on the table."
Went looking for a cookie.
Found one, petted the dog and went to the door.
"Honey....- I'm stuck."
"How far'd you get?"
She points to the end of the driveway.
"Sarah, put your boots on....your mother is stuck."
The pet reindeer in the yard watched the whole sad event....

Stig, you’re the very model of a patient spouse. Did your coffee go cold?

We had it pretty bad in Missouri. We ended up getting about an inch of Ice followed up by six inches of snow, Ended up being stuck at work for three days because the roads were so Icy.

Motorcyclists call that a tip over.
His front wheel doesn't look so good either.

Can't have been the snow bank in the picture. I've driven up a few that size with no issues in my compact car. Must have been a bigger snow bank off the picture or more likely driving much faster.

you might be surprised how easy it is to flip at slow speeds
I was barely moving and climbed a rock that wasn't even 2ft tall

I have come to learn, when something unexpected happens, you often tense up, and as things go, you accidently step on the gas to the floor, or on a motorcycle, you tend to hang on to the handlebar with a death grip, twisting the throttle even more
my UTV flip, I was hitting the brake, with a fat foot that got the gas pedal too
