Put your hands down if the wife isn't happy about it.
My hand is still up!

Haha! In a typical year I’d be guilty until the first warm weekend in March but for some reason I got a wild hair this year and took my lights down about 2 weeks ago.

Lights still out wrapped around the deck railing, but taken down everywhere else on New Years Day.

First warm day after New Years!
I usually fend off several of those days.....
Pizza delivery guys like me in April...."you're looking for house with Xmas lights!"
If my daughter is dating some squirrely looking guy - I turn them on. Embarrasses the heck out of her when he comes to pick her up.

I have a wreath hanging on my basement door that faces the road, but the lights are not working. Had them lit the whole summer of 2020, it was a townwide covid feelgood thing Our town puts lights up early in November, but doesn't turn em on till 1st week in Dec, and turns em off 1st week in Jan, but doesn't take em down till spring, inn 2020, they never got taken down
we are one of the few towns that still strings em across the road
