I love these big American Sycamores.

Yellow Springs Pharmacy and nearby Sunrise Cafe'. (Pricey - but folks line up in the morning to eat there. We found an open table one Xmas Eve~!)

nice pics...but have you ever lived with a big Sycamore tree in your yard? Ugh! Their leaves are the size of dinner plates and the seed bombs are the size of golf balls..they fall and spread out to the size of a drink coaster and kill the grass underneath if not removed fairy quickly. I lived in an old neighborhood that must have lost their Elms in the 60's and 70's so the replacements were all Silver Maples (weed tree) and Sycamores! Talk about a mess!  Nice to look at from a distance, though. ...but please, never, ever plant a new Sycamore!
