Cannot pass this up. 50°F for my coffee ride on any December sunrise is a GO~!
I think I did the same last year, and enjoyed it as well (save for a bit of ribbing at the coffee house, dripping on his "stand here" X)
Group W bench comes in handy on rainy days.
From this evening's cell phone weather predictions...cross winds (so I'll take the big wheel), super-dark (so I'll etc. with its 55/60W Halogen) on a relatively new set of Angels for the blowing rain.

Need an early start because coffee shop opens at 6:45AM, an hour before sunrise and don't want to lose my spot on the bench. :)

You won't be seeing those temps after tomorrow however. We are expecting below 20 F by 7 pm tomorrow night in central Iowa. And down to around 14-15 F at midnight.
That will all be moving your way a day or two later.

Funny, I was going to respond with the exact same thing. Highs in 20's with brutal wind gusts today, low in the low teens to upper single digits. Bundle up!

Had a couple of blowy storms here lately with gusts topping 75 mph so it's been over a week since I've got the scoot out. Getting twitchy now...
